Looking for on a new take on the classic drawing application made exclusively for iPad makes us super excited to try Inspire Pro. Smooth and Natural Interface

Getting on with Inspire Pro has been an amazing experience for me though! It feels super natural to work and paint with this digital illustration maker. That's because its intuitive creative tools let you smoothly draw and create. But, you do need to get a little comfortable with using tools.

Whip Open it Whenever Inspiration Strikes

That's right. With well over dozens of brushes painting tools, you can bring down your creativity back on this digital canvas. There are some great options for customizing the rotation and virtual pressure of the brushes to create subtly different effects which will add more depth to your piece of art.

Inspire Pro allows you to browser through the beautiful gallery of your saved paintings and easily watch the canvas playback video of each of your paintings. You can then give them each a catchy title or simply swipe all through it. Just before painting you can select a size of the canvas as in customize with any width and height so you can work easily.

Once you choose the canvas size you can then import the images from maybe your photos or iCloud Drive and then work on it. To start using the canvas you can even merge or render two brush textures at 1024 x 1024 resolution each, simultaneously and dynamically. This will, hence, produce realistic marks on the canvas.

Record the Strokes

Inspire Pro records the brush strokes you make on the canvas so you can watch your painting unfold anytime. This is convenient because you can also stick it on YouTube and allow your drawing to reach the masses.

A Wide Array of Brushes

With up to 150 high-quality brushes you can turn your drawing into something really beautiful. These are divided into 15 sets: Oil Paint, Airbrushes, Spray Paint, Paint Splatter, Graphite Pencils, Wax Crayons, Markers, Chalk, Charcoal, Pastels & Conté, Patterns, Textures, Basic Shapes, Complex Shapes, and Shape Outlines. Interestingly, these can also be used as a wet brush or dry or maybe blend the one. You can adjust the size and rotation of the brush with high accuracy to adjust it to your need.

Customize the Brushes

You can customize the brushes to the finest detail so as to add the feel and look on the canvas. There are almost over 20 different settings across many categories. Such are: pressure effect, paint blending mode, scatter percentage or the amount of taper a brush stroke is applied with, giving a subtle control over your drawing.

Apple Configured Stroke Reaction

This I think should be just to every Windows user. Because of its compatible with Apple ios only, inspire pro reacts to brush strokes made by only apple pencil - which is perfectly fine, but would be much better if they could have had extended their functionality to over Windows user.

With Apple Pencil you can tilt angle, orientation perform actions like toggling the dry brush, opening the brush menu or invoking the eyedropper, giving an unprecedented creative control. This as a result, makes drawing more fun and pleasurable.

Pluck your Color Choice

Yes, you can easily do it. You can pick a color that you feel to work with. A large color circle and square helps you to choose from the palette. Hence, you can precisely find the perfect one to drop it down on your drawing. When you choose a color and start working using a brush, you can actually then adjust the size and opacity of the brush that you are using, at the current. This is done using the Quick Change which is a fast way to change or optimize your brush. Simple touches or swipe to left or right will hide all the hotspots around the edges and show you the large preview of your brush. This can get precision to an ultimate level.

Fine-tune your Work

You can pre-define the settings to match the painting style and workflow that suits you best. This way you can also hide the hotspots around the edge of the screen once you preset it. Likewise, you can select how long the touch should invoke the eyedropper. In similar way, you can adjust the pressure curve to refine your painting.

Multi-language Support

Inspire Pro is proud to offer its product in 12 different languages other than English: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. Therefore, its flexibility will make it reach the masses.

Likely enough to pay

Though inspire pro offers some decent tools and features, you would still have to pay before getting hands on it. That's something I do not kind of like about it. It would have been much better if they extend their functionality to over Windows users.

Lasting thoughts

So, inspire pro turns out to be adequate enough for drawing or illustrations. It is portable and tactile. It is powerful, and it mimics a variety of mediums such as oil paints, airbrushes, graphite, crayons and more. After an in-depth analyses of the software, we feel that using the app on iPhone 6 restrains us from giving  our max. The screen size makes it difficult to get details pull out. Therefore, we recommend using a fin tip stylus with this app to get a a natural feel. Remember one thing - Save your work before it crashes. With Inspire pro you can also import images on a canvas and work on it. As a result, this software performs really good for amateurs and for professionals too. It is however, not a go-to drawing tool for professionals, still makes itself the best painting app for iPad.
