TinyUmbrella is an SHSH blobs saving utility that allows you to downgrade your iOS device’s firmware version to a lower version than you are currently running. These blobs can be used to restore to older versions of iOS firmware that are no longer signed by Apple, which can be useful for jailbreaking and unlocking iPhone, or downgrading iOS versions. Additionally, TinyUmbrella can be used to fix errors that occur during the iOS restore process.
TinyUmbrella was developed by iOS hacker “Semaphore”. The software is no longer actively maintained and neither its official website. You can always download the latest version of TinyUmbrella maintained at Softlay.
After downloading the latest version of TinyUmbrella, launch it with Administrative privileges. Now connect your iOS device to your PC or Mac and it should begin downloading all available SHSH blobs for the current version.
