Searching files or folders on Windows PC is a hectic job unless you come to know about a program that speeds up the whole process and searches files or folders quickly.
FileBadger is a simple freeware search tool that finds files and folders quicker than Windows built-in search functionality.
This software searches for file properties, and only in the folder that you select.

To get started with the program, simply enable the Simple Search option in the top left corner to enable the text boxes that are below it.
Here you can enter the name or the file or folder that you’re looking for in the relevant fields. You can also select last write timestamp, and the file size limit.
Now, click on the Add button on the right pane to select multiple folders that you want the program to query in.
Hit the green search button and the program will run the task, you’ll hear a beep sound when the search has been completed.
Once you completed the search, the results are displayed in the large pane below the search query box.
The search results are divided into several columns including File Folder, File Name, File Size, Last Write time, creation time, and attributes.
Double-clicking on an item in the result pane to open its folder location in Windows Explorer.
At the bottom, you’ll notice it displays information about the time taken to complete the search and the total number of files checked and the number of files matched it found.
