One Piece Odyssey is a Role-Playing Action-Adventure game that takes place on the Mysterious Island. Players will get to play with the Pirate Characters from the original One Piece. All of the characters in the game have special Field Skills that can be used in the environment to get things from the surroundings or get to a farther area.
One of the abilities of Luffy character is Gum-Gum Rocket which can be used to get to distant areas on Mysterious Island.

How to Get to Distant Areas in One Piece Odyssey
Players will find many lands across their places that the game will not allow other characters to cross except Luffy. Luffy has a unique ability called Gum-Gum Rocket which allows him to stretch his arms to a point and then pull himself to reach a distant area. Players will be able to reach the Distant areas by using the Gum-Gum Ability on the Green Icons shown in the environment or near the distant areas.
You can use the Gum-Gum Rocket ability by following the following steps.
- Go near the edge of the location or an area from where you want to cover a distant area and then hold down the L2 button to aim.
- Aim at the Green Icon in the environment and once your aim is on the Green Icon, you need to press the R2 button to use the Gum-Gum Rocket Ability.
Players will come across many distant places on the Mysterious Island so, if you are not seeing any Green Icons then you will have to switch to Luffy to see them.
