ReShade 5.8.0 Roblox shader is an open-source shader. It’s a generic post-processing injector for Roblox games and video software developed by Crosier. Imagine your favorite game with ambient occlusion, real depth of field effects, color correction, and more … ReShade Shader exposes an automated and generic way to access both frame color and depth information (the latter is automatically disabled during multiplayer to prevent exploitation) and all the tools to make it happen.
ReShade Shader download supports all of Direct3D 9, Direct3D 10, Direct3D 11, Direct3D 12, and OpenGL. and Vulkan. To download Reshade a computer with Windows 7 SP1, 8.1, 10, or 11 and .NET Framework 4.6.2 or higher installed is required.
Using the Reshade shaders for Roblox, Sims 4 the possibilities are endless Add advanced depth-edge-detection-driven SMAA antialiasing, screen space ambient occlusion, depth of field effects, chromatic aberration, dynamic film grain, automatic saturation and color correction, cross processing, and multi-pass blurring.
ReShade features its very own shading language and compiler, called ReShade FX. The syntax is based on HLSL, adding useful features designed for developing post-processing effects: Define and use textures right from the shader code, render to them, change render states, retrieve color and depth data, and request custom values like timers or key states.
This is a generic post-processing injector for games and video software. It exposes an automated way to access both frame color and depth information and a custom shader language called ReShade FX to write effects like ambient occlusion, depth of field, color correction, and more which work everywhere.
ReShade can optionally load add-ons, and DLLs that make use of the ReShade API to extend the functionality of both ReShade and/or the application ReShade is being applied. To get started on how to write your own add-on, check out the API reference.
The ReShade for PC FX shader compiler contained in this repository is standalone, so can be integrated into other projects as well. Simply add all sources/effects_. files to your project and use it similarly to the Fxc example.
And that’s not it. Write your shaders just once, they’ll work everywhere, regardless of your target being Direct3D or OpenGL: ReShade takes care of compiling them to the right shader model and language (HLSL, GLSL, or SPIR-V).
ReShade 5.0 introduced a powerful add-on API that makes it possible to write add-ons for both ReShade and the games it is used with. For more information check out the documentation. For some users the latest version won’t work, they can try downloading the Reshade 4.9.1 old version. It’s more stable and doesn’t have more glitches.
How to Uninstall ReShade?
If you have installed the Reshade shader installer to play these games i.e. GTA V, Sims 4, cyberpunk, Skyrim, Roblox, RDR 2. Then follow these solutions to uninstall Reshade.
The “Do it for me / I don’t wanna read” solution:
Delete the entire game folder and re-download the game. No, just uninstalling the game will not work.
If you don’t wanna re-download the game and still don’t wanna read” solution:
Go to the game’s executable folder and delete any of the following files you see:
- D3D8.DLL
- D3D9.DLL
- D3D10.DLL
- D3D11.DLL
- OPENGL.DLL
- DXGI.DLL
Then delete these additional files:
- D3D9.INI
- D3D10.INI
- D3D11.INI
- OPENGL.INI
- DXGI.INI
- Along with the reshade-shaders folder
