You’ve to create a different shortcut to activate console commands in XCOM Chimera Squad. If you launch the game using Steam, cheats will not work.
- Launch Steam and go to your game Library.
- Right-click on XCOM Chimera Squad and click on Properties.
- Go to Local files tap and then click on the Browse Local Files button. This will open a default folder where the game is installed.
- Next, go to the Binaries > Win 64 folder and look for the xcom.exe file.
- Right-click on the file and choose to Create Shortcut.
