There are two main ways through which players will be able to get their hands on King’s Rock. The methods to get King’s Rock are the following.

- Buy King’s Rock from the Auction House in Porto Marinada.
However, both of these methods also have requirements that players will have to complete to get the King’s Rock.
Obtain King’s Rock from Delibird Presents Shop in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
The easy way to get the King’s Rock is through Delibird Presents Shop because players can buy it for 10,000 Poke Dollars. King’s Rock will be available at the Delibird Presents Shops after players have obtained Four Gym Badges. Gym Badges are obtained by defeating the Gym Leaders of different Towns and Cities of Paldea.
Players can obtain any Four Gym Badges to unlock the King’s Rock in the Delibird Presents Shops. If you are having a difficult time defeating the Gym Leaders, then we suggest the following order to obtain the Gym Badges.
- Cortondo Gym (Bug Badge)
- Levincia Gym (Electric Badge)

Once you have obtained the Gym Badges, go to any Delibird Presents Shop in Mesagoza and you will be able to buy King’s Rock for 10,000 Poke Dollars under the Battle Items section of the shop.
Obtain King’s Rock from the Auction House in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Auction House has all kinds of items in them for which players can take part in the Auction and place the highest bid to get the item. However, the Auction House is not unlocked from the beginning of the game and players will have to take down the Sky Titan in order to unlock the Auction House at Porto Marinada.
If players want to get King’s Rock before defeating four Gym Leaders, then they have to unlock the Auction House and then wait for the King’s Rock to appear at one of the Auctions. Not only this, but players should also have a high amount of Poke Dollars because Auctions for evolution items can easily cross over 50,000 Poke Dollars.
Use of King’s Rock in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
King’s Rock is a Holding Item and players can hand this item to one of the Water Type or Psychic Type Pokémon and the successful attacks of the Pokémon will make the targets Flinch. King’s Rock is mainly used to evolve Water Type and Psychic Type Pokémon. One of the Pokémon that can be evolved from King’s Rock is Slowpoke. Using King’s Rock on Slowpoke will evolve it into Slowking.
