There are two main ways through which players will be able to get their hands on Razor Claw. The methods to get Razor Claw are the following.
- Buy Razor Claw from one of the Delibird Presents Shops in Mesagoza.
- Buy Razor Claw from the Auction House in Porto Marinada.
However, both of these methods also have requirements that players will have to complete to get the Razor Claw.
Obtain Razor Claw from Delibird Presents Shop in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
The easy way to get the Razor Claw is through Delibird Presents Shop because players can buy it for 15,000 Poke Dollars. Razor Claw will be available at the Delibird Presents Shops after players have obtained Four Gym Badges. Gym Badges are obtained by defeating the Gym Leaders of different Towns and Cities of Paldea.
Players can obtain any Four Gym Badges to unlock the Razor Claw in the Delibird Presents Shops. If you are having a difficult time defeating the Gym Leaders, then we suggest the following order to obtain the Gym Badges.
- Cortondo Gym (Bug Badge)
- Levincia Gym (Electric Badge)
- Artazon Gym (Grass Badge)
- Cascarrafa Gym (Water Badge)
Once you have obtained the Gym Badges, go to any Delibird Presents Shop in Mesagoza and you will be able to buy Razor Claw for 15,000 Poke Dollars under the Battle Items section of the shop.
Obtain Razor Claw from the Auction House in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Auction House has all kinds of items in them for which players can take part in the Auction and place the highest bid to get the item. However, the Auction House is not unlocked from the beginning of the game and players will have to take down the Sky Titan in order to unlock the Auction House at Porto Marinada.
If players want to get Razor Claw before defeating four Gym Leaders, then they have to unlock the Auction House and then wait for the Razor Claw to appear at one of the Auctions. Not only this, but players should also have a high amount of Poke Dollars because Auctions for evolution items can easily cross over 50,000 Poke Dollars.
Use of Razor Claw in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Razor Claw is a Holding Item and players can hand this item to one of the Dark Type or Ice Type Pokémon to evolve them at night-time. They can also hand this item to any Pokémon and the Razor Claw will increase Critical-Hit Ratio of the Pokémon. Razor Claw is mainly used to evolve Dark Type and Ice Type Pokémon. One of the Pokémon that can be evolved from Razor Claw is Sneasel. Using Razor Claw on Sneasel and levelling it up at night-time will evolve it into Weavile.
