Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is an RPG open world game in which players will get to catch and battle Pokémon, explore the Paldea Region, and even invite their friends to play in a Co-op mode. Players can also do other activities as well in the game like taking pictures with their favorite Pokémon or with their Friends. Players will be able to use the phone that they get at the start of the game to take pictures in the game.

How to take Pictures in Pokémon Violet and Scarlet
Players will get a Rotom Phone at the start of the game that can be used to view the map or open the Pokedex app but players can also use it to take pictures in the game. They can pictures of the beautiful scenery, Pokémon, or friends. Players will have to open the camera of the Phone to start taking pictures.
- Pictures are taken in Phot Mode which is the camera of the Phone in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
- To go into the Photo Mode, press DOWN on D-PAD.
- Press the Capture Button to take the Photo.
- You can also save the Photo to the memories by accepting.
Players will go into the Photo Mode where they will be to take photos as well as go through the different options of camera settings as well.
All Options in the Photo Mode of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Players will be able to select through the following options of Photo Mode.
- Press A to Hide Guide.
- Press Left or Right buttons of directional controls to change Filters.
- Press Left or Right on the D-Pad to Rotate the Camera.
- Press the Right Analog Stick to Reset all the settings of Photo Mode.
- Use the Right Analog Stick to Move the Camera.
All these options are also can be input in the Selfie Mode of the Camera. Press the Y button to go into the Selfie Mode. Selfie Mode has some additional options as well.
- Press Up on the D-Pad to do emotes with face of your character.
- Press Down on the D-Pad to do emotes with eyes of your character.
There are six different emotes of Face that you can do. You can play them by interacting with them and when your character is doing the emote, you can take the picture with the Capture Button.
To Turn off the Photo Mode, simply Press B Button to return back to your adventure.
