There are three ways from which you can play YouTube videos in Potplayer. You can play YouTube videos in PotPlayer via drag & drop method, via PotPlayer settings, or by using the PotPlayer chrome extension.
In this article, we’ll guide you on how to play YouTube Video in PotPlayer.
1- Via Drag & Drop method
Just follow the below steps.
- Launch the PotPlayer.
- Search for a video on the YouTube site.
- Drag & drop/ Copy the URL of the Video & paste it to PotPlayer by simply pressing CTRL + V.
- Press the “H” key while playing the video to change the quality of the Video.
2- Via Potplayer Settings
In case if drag & drop method doesn’t work, then you can play YouTube videos in Potplayer via PotPlayer settings. Just follow the below steps.
- Copy the URL of the YouTube video from the address bar.
- Launch the PotPlayer.
- On the top, left corner, click on it OR simply Right -click on the interface.
- Go to Open > Click on “Open URL” or “CTRL + U” as a shortcut key.
- A new window will open.
- Paste the URL link of the desired video and click on OK.
- Press the “H” key while playing the video to change the quality of the Video.
3- Using Chrome Extension
You can also play YouTube videos on PotPlayer by using Chrome Extension. To open a Youtube video (playlist) in PotPlayer you can use the buttons on the site or you can use the menu items from the context menu (the right-click popup bar) on a Youtube link or on the actual Youtube page.
You can also use a middle click on a Youtube page or a link to open it directly in the player.
