Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are two entries in the Pokémon Game Series. Both of the games have a total of 400 Pokémon in the game that players can find and catch in the game. Both versions of the game have fan favourite Pokémon in the game as well and one of the fan favourites’ is Larvitar. Larvitar is a Rock and Ground Type Pokémon that can be found early in the game and players can catch it by going to one of the spawn locations of Larvtar. Players can easily find Larvitar on the south of Paldea Region near the Lighthouse.

Where to Find Larvitar in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Larvitar is one of the fan-favorite Pokémon and players can find Larvitar very early in the game by going to one of the Spawn locations of Larvitar. Larvitar is a Level 16 Pokémon and once the players have completed the Prologue of the game, they will be able to free-roam anywhere in the Paldea Region. Larvitar is mostly spawned in the caves as well as in the shade of trees. The spawn locations of Larvitar are almost in every direction from Mesagoza but to get it in early game, you can go to the South Direction near Los Platos.
You need to go to the Lighthouse and up on the hill to find Larvitar in the shade of trees. If you want to find it in the caves then make your way to the Southwest of Mesagoza and you will enter a cave that also has a high spawn rate of Larvitar. Since Larvitar is a rare Pokémon, you will have to look for it a bit and once you have seen it or crossed past it, it will start showing on your mini-map. Go to the point of Larvitar showing on the map and you will find Larvitar.
How to Catch Larvitar in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
After you have found Larvitar in one of his spawn locations, you need to go close to Larvitar to trigger the Battle. In the Battle, you only want to use light attacks to deplete the HP of Larvitar. Try not to faint Larvitar because it will be killed and then you will have to look for another Larvitar. Once you have lowered its HP, press the X button to select one of the Poke Balls in your inventory and then press A to throw the Poke Ball at Larvitar to catch it.
Larvitar is a Rock and Ground Type Pokémon so it will take less damage and deal more damage so make sure you summon your best Pokémon for the battle to deplete Larvitar’s HP. If Larvitar breaks through the Poke Ball, then you will have to hit a couple of more shots and then throw the Poke Ball again to catch it.
