Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are two entries in the Pokémon Game Series. Both of the games have a total of 400 Pokémon in the game that players can find and catch in the game. Both versions of the game have fan favorite Pokémon in the game as well and one of the fan favorites is Pikachu. Pikachu is a Lighting Type Pokémon that can be found early in the game and players can catch it by going to one of the spawn locations of Pikachu. Players can easily find Pikachu in the Southwest area of Paldea region.

Where to Find Pikachu in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Pikachu is one of the fan-favorite Pokémon and players can find Pikachu very early in the game by going to one of the Spawn locations of Pikachu. Pikachu is a Level 10 Pokémon and once the players have completed the Prologue of the game, they will be able to free-roam anywhere in the Paldea Region. Pikachu is mostly spawned near the trees and the spawn location where it can mostly be found is in the Northwest area and the Southwest area of Mesagoza.

Mesagoza is the starting point of the game and if you go in the Southwest direction of Mesagoza, you will get to a town named “Cortondo”. Go to the south side of Cortondo town to find Pikachu near the trees. Pikachu is a rare Pokémon due to its size because it is small and it can hide pretty well in the grass. You will have to look near the trees and if you pass through any Pikachu in the area, it will pop up on your mini-map.

How to Catch Pikachu in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

After you have found Pikachu in one of his spawn locations, you need to go close to Pikachu to trigger the Battle. In the Battle, you only want to use light attacks to deplete the HP of Pikachu. Try not to faint Pikachu because it will be killed and then you will have to look for another Pikachu. Once you have lowered its HP, press the X button to select one of the Poke Balls in your inventory and then press A to throw the Poke Ball at Pikachu to catch it.

If Pikachu breaks through the Poke Ball, then you will have to hit a couple of more shots and then throw the Poke Ball again to catch it.
