River City Girls 2 has one of the best fighting mechanics in Beat-Em Up playstyle games but it also offers other things to do in game like take selfies in different places or find hidden collectibles throughout the River City or complete different challenges. One of the challenges in the game named “Search and Rescue” requires Kyoko and Misako to find the cats spread across River City 2.

In this guide, we’ll explain you where you can find all river city girls 2 cats.

Hidden Cats

Players will be saving River City from the Yakuza Criminal Organization with Kyoko and Misako along with other characters but players can also find other things that need help and one of those things is Cat. There are 20 Cats in the River City that players can find in the high places to save them. Finding all of the cats will complete a hidden challenge named “Search and Rescute” which will give extra EXP as well to increase the level of the characters.

River City Girls 2 Cat Locations

There are 8 different areas in River City in which players will be exploring to take down all the criminal activities and defeat bosses of the game but they can also find the Cats in the areas to save them. All the cats will be spread through the areas and you can find them in the following exact locations.

1.    All Cats in Crosstown

Crosstown is the first area of River City where players will start the game and there are 6 cats that you can find in Crosstown at the following locations.

• The first cat can be found in one of the high branches of the Tree in Capitol Ave location. This location is on the left side of the River City High School. Make your way the Capitol Ave and you will see a Tree in the middle. Climb on the tree to find the first Cat.
• From the first location, go down the street to reach the Capitol Ave Bridge location. Go to the right side along the bridge and you will find a Cat at the end of the Bridge near the construction.
• The next Cat can be found at the Town Square location. Make your way to the Town Square and pass the Fountain in the middle and go to the top right towards the Brick Wall. Jump against the wall and then jump back on the platform by giving the direction of backward and you will find the cat.
• The next Cat can be found at the Food Court location of Crosstown. Make your way to the Food Court and go to the bottom right side towards the Exit. On the left side of the exit, outside the shop, you will see a Green Cat sitting on the boxes.
• From the last location, exit the Food Court and then go to the Mall Exit Location on the right side. You will see three rocks in the fountain. Jump on the rocks to see a Cat sitting on the highest Rock. Jump on the rock to catch the Cat.
• The last Cat can be found at the Parking Garage location of Crosstown. Go to the Parking Garage and make your way to the right side towards the Ticket Counter. A Cat will be sitting up on the Ticket Counter. Jump against the wall and then give the direction towards the Ticket Counter to get up on the Ticket Counter and catch the Cat.

2.    All Cats in Uptown

Uptown is the next area from Crosstown and you can only find 1 Cat in whole Uptown at the following location.

• The Cat can be found in the Fashion District location in Upton area. Go to the right side and you will see a shop named “Spicy Subject”. There will be cat sitting on the platform above the shop. Jump on the wall and then jump back on the platform to catch the cat.

3.    All Cats in Downtown

Downtown is the next area from Uptown and you can find 3 cats in whole Downtown area at the following locations.

• The first Cat can be found in the Farmer’s Market location in Downtown. Go to the right side of the market and you will come upon a building in which you can go inside. Don’t go inside yet and jump on the platform on the side of the building and then jump on the ledge above. Jump up on the Window and then on the Outdoor of the AC and then on the next box to catch the Cat.
• The next Cat can be found on the Fourth Floor of the Apartments. Go inside the Apartments and you will come up on an Elevator whose doors are closing and opening itself. Wait for the doors to open and then catch the Cat inside it.
• The next Cat can be found in the Subway Tunnel location. Go to the right side and you will come up on a Green Train. Go inside the Train and go to the end of the Train and you will find the last cat in Downtown.

4.    All Cats in Flatirons

Flatirons is the next area from Downtown and you can find 3 cats in whole Flatirons area at the following locations.

• The first cat can be found in the Amusement Park location in Flatirons. Go up on the Amusement Park and you will see a shop named “Jewel of the Vile”. The Cat will be sitting above the shop. Jump on the bench and then the wall to reach above the shop.
• The next cat can be found in the Overgrown Zoo location in Flatirons. Go up in the Zoo towards the tree and then climb on the roots and then on the fence to reach top of the tree. The cat will be sitting on the Tree.
• The next cat can be found in the Graveyard location in Flatirons. Go up on the Graveyard and you will come up on a Black Tree. Climb up on the Tombstone next to the tree and you will see the cat sitting on the tree.

5.    All Cats in Ocean Heights

Ocean Heights is the next area from Flatirons and you can find 3 cats in whole Ocean Heights area at the following locations.

• The first cat can be found in the Beach Plaza location. Go to towards Primo’s Restaurant and you will see a Cat sitting on the red Sheet of the Restaurant. Jump on the wall to reach the sheet and catch the cat.
• The next cat can be found in the Ocean Heights Shops location. Go down the street to the right side and jump on the trash can and up on the shop and you will see a Cat sitting above the DOJO Shop.
• The next cat can be found on the Beach location. Go to the right side and climb up on the rock and you will see a cat sitting on the Pier. Jump on the Pier to catch the Cat.

6.    All Cats in Technos

Technos is the next area from Ocean Heights and you can find 2 cats in whole Technos area at the following locations.

• The first cat can be found in the Security Gate location. The cat will be sitting above the Security Counter. Go inside the gate and then jump on the table to reach the wall. Come towards the Cat to catch it.
• The next cat can be found in the Technos Museum location. Jump up on the Arcade Games display and then jump on the T-Rex Statue to find the Cat.

7.    All Cats in Sanwakai Tower

Sanwakai Tower is the last area after Technos and players will find 2 cats in whole Sanwakai Tower area at the following locations.

• The first cat can be found at the outside of Sanwakai Tower. Once you have made it to the area, jump up on the Trash Can to reach the ledge of the Tower and then go to the right side and you will find the cat sitting in front of the Sanwakai Tower Sign.
• The next cat can be found in the Mao Sushi location. Made it to Mao Sushi and jump on the counter and then go up on the higher floor. You will see the cat sitting on the table.

After catching all the Cats, you will complete the challenge “Search and Rescute” and gain EXP.
